Community Food Larder

TAKE WHAT YOU NEED – LEAVE WHAT YOU CAN

Our new Community Food Larder is now open at Tanyard Hall, Gomhsall.  The Food Larder is a new scheme that is being trialled for the next three months to provide a self-service food larder.  The larder is located outside Tanyard Hall and is open 24 hours a day. It operates on an honesty basis and provides essential food and supplies along with hygiene supplies to families who need help.

The idea is simple, but we hope effective. We are asking for donors to provide key food staples and bathroom products, which you can drop off and leave directly in the larder.  Families who would like support can help themselves to supplies.  We hope people take just what they need for a meal or two – as more long term support can be provided at North Guildford Foodbank.

At this point, we need help to establish the Larder.
